Feasibility projects

Power Up North London is building a strong pipeline of projects.

Schools: Building on our experience with Hampstead School, we have approval from Camden Council’s Climate Advisory Panel to develop partnerships with the Regent’s School is Somers Town and Parliament Hill School. We are also in discussion with a number of other schools in Camden, Islington and Haringey.

Sports Centres: Once the Talacre Sports Centre solar installation is completed, we will be testing the potential to replicate this approach at Kentish Town Sports Centre.

Health Centres and Hospitals: Building on our brilliant collaboration with Caversham Health Centre we are in discussion with a number of hospitals in North London.

Churches: Our first project was at St Anne’s Church in Highgate. We are now working with St Benets Church in Kentish Town and St Mary’s in Primrose Hill to support solar installations, and are providing advice to a number of other churches as they work to decarbonise their estate.
